Syllabus

<p>1. Master and Servant — Injuries to Servant — Scaffolding—Construction — Dutt of Master.</p> <p>Where defendant, engaged in the construction of a building, undertook to erect scaffolding for the use of bricklayers, and, to accomplish this, employed a boss carpenter, who, with his servants, negligently constructed the same with light and insufficient materials, by reason of which one of the bricklayers was injured, defendant was liable therefor.</p> <p>T1.
