<p>Fbaudulent Conybyances. — Where a party executes a mortgage upon his personal property, without consideration, and without a change of possession, and for the sole purpose of hindering and delaying his creditors; such a conveyance is fraudulent and void, and the mortgagee acquires no rights under the mortgage upon which he can base an action. The creditors of the mortagor may levy upon and sell the property covered by the mortgage. *</p>
