Syllabus

<p>Mechanic’s lien — Time of commencement of work — Subcontractor— Finding of auditor.</p> <p>1. A finding of an auditor appointed to distribute proceeds of sale in a mechanic’s lien proceeding, as to the time when the work was commenced, will not be reversed by the appellate court, where the finding is based upon sufficient evidence, and has been approved by the court below.</p> <p>2. A mechanic’s lien filed by a subcontractor is sufficient if it sets forth the written bid of the claimant and the acceptance of the bid by the contractor, avers that the labor was done and material furnished between certain proper dates mentioned, and that the service was continuously performed, and also sets forth a detailed account of the items and materials furnished, and their kind and price.</p>
