Syllabus

<p>1. A final judgment cannot be entered by the Clerk of the Circuit Court where the only service of notice of the suit is by publication.</p> <p>2. Á writ of error from what purports to be a final judgment of a Circuit Court operates as a general appearance in the case of the parties taking the writ.</p>
