Syllabus

<p>Decedents' estates—Claim, for services—Board and washing. Where the evidence shows an express contract by which claimant to furnish board and washing to the decedent for fifty dollars a year, further allowance can be made for such services, although the compensa-j tion was clearly inadequate.</p> <p>Evidence—Witness—Party dead—Act of May 23, 1887.</p> <p>Under the act of May 23, 1887, P. L. 158, persons interested in the estate of a decedent are competent to testify against a claim for services rendered to decedent, as to declarations made by claimant.</p>
