Syllabus

Upon review of the facts set forth in State v. Unger, 67 Ohio St.2d 65 (1981), we conclude that the trial court abused its discretion in denying a pro se defendant's unopposed request for a continuance asserted both one day prior to the hearing and on the record at the hearing.
