<p>1. Wills—Lapse :of Legacy—Construction—Statute.</p> <p>Rev. Code 1915, § 3389, providing that certain legacies should not lapse on the death o£ a legatee, applied to the will of a person dying thereafter, although the legatee in question died prior to its enactment.</p> <p>2. Wills—Construction—Restriction of Legatee to Particular Provision.</p> <p>Under a will: “1. I give to my daughter ,S., the sum of $20,000. 2. I give to my grandson, M., the sum of $1,000, and in case my said daughter be not living at the time of my decease, I give to him in addition to the above sum the sum of $6,000”—the grandson was only entitled to $7,000, where the daughter predeceased the testator.</p>
