<p>Brokers—Commissions—Contract —- Limit — Time for Performance. Upon an agreement to pay a broker’s commission if he could make a sale of a salmon pack upon that day, time is of the essence of the contract, and there is no liability for the commission where the broker was unable to consummate the deal on that day, and was not prevented by any act of the vendor, although four days later a sale was consummated without the intervention of the broker.</p>
