Syllabus
<p>1. Garnishment. Unliquidated, ex delicto demands.</p> <p>An unliquidated liability for damages, because of a tort, is not subject to garnishment either at law or in equity. Dollman v. Moore, 70 Miss., 376; Gordon r.Wa/i'field, 74 Miss., 557, distinguished.</p> <p>2. Same. Attachment in chancery. Code 1892, g 486.</p> <p>An attachment in chancery against a nonresident debtor, under code 1892, g 486, cannot be maintained, if the only property of the nonresident in this state be an unliquidated demand for damages because of a tort committed by a resident defendant.</p>
