Syllabus

<p>Statute of limitations — AcJcnowledgment of debt.</p> <p>In order to take a debt out of the bar of the statute of limitations by an acknowledgment or promise to pay, the acknowledgment or promise to pay must be made to the creditor or his known agent. Declarations made to a stranger are insufficient.</p>
