Syllabus

<p>A statute limiting the time within which actions may be brought to annul state patents for land and which, applied to a given case, prevents a senior grantee or- contractee from asserting his rights, accrued before.the passage of the statute, against a junior patentee of the same land, does not deprive him of property without due •process or impair the obligation of hi3 contract if it allows a reasonable time after its enactment within which his suit may be begun.
