<p>SYLLABUS BY THE COURT.</p> <p>Statute op Frauds — Sale of Beal Estate by Agent — Written Authority. A contract for the sale and conveyance of real estate, made by an agent of the owner, which the owner did not sign and for the making of which the agent had no authority in writing from the owner, is void under the statute of frauds as amended by chapter 266 of the Laws of 1905.</p>
