<p>COMMUNITY PROPERTY — EARNINGS OP WIFE — GIFT BY HUSBAND TO WIFE.</p> <p>Money saved by a wife from the funds given her by her husband for household expenses does not thereby lose its community character and become her separate property.</p> <p>A statement by a husband that his wife had selected certain lots; that she had always worked hard and earned a great deal of money, and that he intended the land as a home for her, cannot be construed as creating a separate estate therein by gift, when the land had been purchased with community funds.</p>
