<p>Mechanic’s lien — Subcontractors—Notice—-“Nature of labor or materials furnished.”</p> <p>Under sec. 8 of the Act of June 4, 1901, P. L. 431, a subcontractor in his notice of intention to file a lien must set out under the head of “nature of the labor and materials furnished,” a description of the quality and character of the things furnished, so that they can be distinguished and identified. A mere statement in the notice that the materials furnished were “rough lumber and mill work,” is entirely too general, and such a notice will not sustain a lien filed by the subcontractor.</p>
