Private Cemeteries Honoring Veterans in the Absence of Next of Kin Act
This bill provides that if the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is unable to locate any next of kin of certain deceased veterans, a private cemetery may request that the VA furnish a headstone or marker, medallion, or other device for the grave to signify the individual's veteran status.
