                Proclamation 11078 of November 3, 2026

Anti-Communism Week, 2026

By the President of the United States of America

                A Proclamation

For more than a century, human freedom has been
threatened by communist and socialist ideologies that
                eliminate individual opportunity, subjugate individuals
to the state, and extinguish the God-given rights upon
which free nations are built. This Anti-Communism Week,
we are reminded of the devastating consequences of
state control over human thought, creativity, and
political expression, resulting in suffering, poverty,
exploitation, violence, and misery for millions, and we
renew our commitment to protect the sacred values of
life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness from the
                chains of tyranny.

Our Republic was founded upon the enduring conviction
that our rights are inherent, our liberties are sacred,
and our Government derives its just powers from the
consent of the governed. These principles have defined
our national character for over 250 years and continue
to distinguish our way of life from that of all other
                countries on Earth.

Today, however, our American experiment faces renewed
threats as socialist, communist, and radical leftist
ideologies find increased expression in our Nation. We
must remain vigilant in defending the principles that
sustain our Republic and ensure the lessons of history
are never forgotten nor repeated. Under my leadership,
America will never fall victim to these evil
ideologies, and the United States will never become a
                communist country.

The story of America is, above all, a story of a Nation
uniting as one, standing up to tyranny, and charting
its own destiny as a free and self-governing Republic.
As President, I will always protect the founding
principles for which so many fought and died. Together,
we will defend our Constitution, which protects our
                freedoms; uphold the dignity of every individual;
strengthen the free market, which has made us the most
prosperous country ever to exist; and ensure that the
promise of America remains alive and well for
                generations to come.

This week, we honor the victims of socialism and
communism by remembering their lives, defending the
freedoms that were denied, renewing our resolve to
safeguard the Republic entrusted to us, and reminding
ourselves that what we have created as a Nation stands
as the greatest testament to human freedom in the
                history of the world.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the
United States of America, by virtue of the authority
vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the
United States, do hereby proclaim the week of November
                1 through November 7 as Anti-Communism Week. I call
upon all Americans to stand firm in their defense
against any threat to the American way of life and to
protect our burning flame of liberty from the darkness
                of communism.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this
third day of November, in the year of our Lord two
thousand twenty-six, and of the Independence of the
United States of America the two hundred and fifty-
                first.
