SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
Correction
In the notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) published October 19,
2026, at 91 FR 66033, in the DATES section, the Coast Guard stated that
comments and related material must be received on or before November
18, 2026.
The proposed safety zone is intended to be enforced from 8 a.m.
until 9 p.m. on November 15, 2026. Because the original comment
deadline falls after the proposed enforcement period, the Coast Guard
is correcting the deadline to November 6, 2026. This revised deadline
provides interested persons an opportunity to comment while allowing
the Coast Guard sufficient time to review timely submitted comments and
determine whether a final rule is necessary before the scheduled event.
The Coast Guard has received a comment on the NPRM and will
consider that comment, along with any other timely submitted comments,
before taking further action. Comments submitted after the revised
deadline may be considered to the extent practicable.
