Appraisal Subcommittee Notice of Special Meeting

AGENCY: Appraisal Subcommittee of the Federal Financial Institutions 
Examination Council.

ACTION: Notice of special meeting.

    Description: In accordance with section 1104(b) of title XI of the 
Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act of 1989 
(Title XI), codified at 12 U.S.C. 3333(b), and the Appraisal 
Subcommittee (ASC) Rules of Operation, notice is hereby given that the 
ASC is meeting for a Special Meeting on October 29, 2026. The Special 
Meeting begins with a closed session, immediately followed by an open 
session.
    Location: Virtual Meeting.
    Date: Thursday, October 29, 2026.
    Time: 1:00 p.m. ET.
    Status: Closed and Open.

Closed Session--October 29, 2026, 1:00 p.m. Until 1:45 p.m. ET via 
Teams

    The ASC will meet in closed session to discuss a preliminary State 
audit report in accordance with 12 U.S.C. 3333(b).

Open Session--October 29, 2026, 1:45 p.m. ET via Zoom

    Immediately after the closed session, the ASC will meet in open 
session to discuss and act on the preliminary State audit report, in 
accordance with 12 U.S.C. 3333(b).

    Note: The time listed for the open session in this notice is an 
estimate because the open session will begin immediately following 
the closed session.

    How to Attend and Observe the Open Session: The open session will 
be open to the public via live webcast only. Please visit the agency's 
homepage (<a href="http://www.asc.gov">www.asc.gov</a>) and access the registration link provided in the 
News and Events section. You must register in advance to attend the 
open session. The use of any video or audio tape recording device, 
photographing device, or any other electronic or mechanical device 
designed for similar purposes is prohibited at ASC Meetings.
