Abstract of Information Available

The two associated funerary objects are a flint chisel and flint
tool. These two objects were removed from the Goodall Mounds at an
unknown date by Donald Boudeman. These two objects were donated to
Michigan State University in 1961 by Donna Boudeman after Donald's
passing. No known hazardous substances are present. These objects were
part of a joint consultation effort to bring together human remains and
associated funerary objects from multiple institutions together.

Cultural Affiliation

Based on the information available and the results of consultation,
cultural affiliation is reasonably identified by the geographical
location or acquisition history of the associated funerary objects
described in this notice.

Determinations

Michigan State University has determined that:
<bullet> The two objects described in this notice are reasonably
believed to have been placed intentionally with or near individual
human remains at the time of death or later as part of the death rite
or ceremony.

objects described in this notice and the Absentee-Shawnee Tribe of
