SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: This notice informs the public that HUD is

Section A.

A. Overview of Information Collection

Title of Information Collection: Congregate Housing Services
Program (CHSP).
    OMB Approval Number: 2502-0485.
Type of Request: Extension of a currently approved collection.
    Form Number: HUD-90006, HUD-90198, HUD-91180-A, 91178-A, SF-425.
Description of the need for the information and proposed use:
Grantees' completion of the Annual Report gives HUD the information
needed to know who each grant is serving and what services participants
receive with grant funds. The Summary Budget and Annual Program Budget
together form the grantee's annual extension request, showing itemized
anticipated costs and a matrix of budgeted yearly costs; including how
matching funds, participant fees, and grant funds are combined to run
the program. Field staff use this budget to approve annual extension
funding requests and to confirm grantees are meeting statutory and
regulatory requirements. The Payment Voucher lets HUD monitor grant
fund use for eligible activities over the grant term, and grantees can
similarly use it to track and record payment reimbursement requests.
Respondents: State, Indian tribe, unit of general local government,
or local nonprofit housing sponsor, IHA, PHA, or for-profit or not-for-
profit owner,
    Estimated Number of Respondents: 30.
    Estimated Number of Responses: 330.
Frequency of Response: Semi-annually to annually.
    Average Hours per Response: .82.
    Total Estimated Burdens: 1,050.

B. Solicitation of Public Comment

This notice is soliciting comments from members of the public and
affected parties concerning the collection of information described in
Section A on the following:
    (1) Whether the proposed collection of information is necessary for
the proper performance of the functions of the agency, including
whether the information will have practical utility;
    (2) The accuracy of the agency's estimate of the burden of the
proposed collection of information;
    (3) Ways to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the
information to be collected; and
    (4) Ways to minimize the burden of the collection of information on
those who are to respond; including through the use of appropriate
automated collection techniques or other forms of information
technology, e.g., permitting electronic submission of responses.
HUD encourages interested parties to submit comment in response to
these questions.
