will help OIRA determine whether to approve the ICR referred to in this
Notice.

Records, Equivalents/Alternatives and Exemptions.

Need: Under 33 U.S. Code 1321 and Executive Order 12777 the Coast
Guard is authorized to prescribe regulations to prevent the discharge
of oil and hazardous substances from vessels and facilities and to

materials in bulk to or from vessels with a 250 or more barrel
capacity; and (4) provide procedures for vessel or facility operators
who request exemption or partial exemption from the requirements of the
pollution prevention regulations.
Forms: None.
Respondents: Owners and operators of bulk oil and hazardous
materials facilities and vessels.
Frequency: On occasion.
Hour Burden Estimate: The estimated burden has decreased from 1,800

35, as amended.)
