AGENCY: National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), National Oceanic and 
Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Commerce.

ACTION: Notice of public meeting.

SUMMARY: The Scientific and Statistical Committee (SSC) of the Mid-
Atlantic Fishery Management Council (Council) will hold a meeting.

DATES: The meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 from 9 
a.m. to 12 p.m. E.T. See SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION for agenda details.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: During this meeting, the SSC will make 
multi-year acceptable biological catch (ABC) recommendations for 
Longfin Squid. The SSC will make ABC recommendations for the 2027-2029 
fishing years using information from the recently completed research 
track and management track stock assessment reviews. The SSC may take 
up any other business as necessary.
