Abstract
In compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, the Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) announces a proposed public information collection and seeks public comment on the provisions thereof. Comments are invited on: whether the proposed collection of information is necessary for the proper performance of the functions of the agency, including whether the information shall have practical utility; the accuracy of the agency's estimate of the burden of the proposed information collection; ways to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected; and ways to minimize the burden of the information collection on respondents, including through the use of automated collection techniques or other forms of information technology.

AGENCY: Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and
Readiness (OUSD(P&R)), Department of Defense (DoD).
ACTION: 60-Day information collection notice.

SUMMARY: In compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, the
Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) announces a proposed
public information collection and seeks public comment on the
provisions thereof. Comments are invited on: whether the proposed
collection of information is necessary for the proper performance of
the functions of the agency, including whether the information shall
have practical utility; the accuracy of the agency's estimate of the

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
Title; Associated Form; and OMB Number: Uniformed Services
Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA) Inquiry, DD Form 3021;
OMB Control Number 0704-0678.
Needs and Uses: To assist in answering the public's questions
related to the Uniformed Services Employment Reemployment Rights Act
(USERRA). ESGR provides Ombudsmen services to mediate uniformed
service-related disputes between service members and their civilian
employers. To support the ESGR Ombudsman Services Program by tracking
information provided to members of the public by recording information
related to answering inquiries related to USERRA; and by reporting
statistics related to the Ombudsman Services Program in aggregate.
Affected Public: Employers of Reserve Component Service Members,
and those interested in receiving information about the rights and
protections provided by USERRA.
Annual Burden Hours: 81.41.
Number of Respondents: 977.
Responses per Respondent: 1.
Annual Responses: 977.
Average Burden per Response: 5 minutes.
