Abstract

The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) published a notice in the Federal Register of July 14, 2026, extending the eligibility time period for Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) and Refugee Medical Assistance (RMA). After further review of the considerations listed 45 CFR 400.211, ORR determined that the eligibility period should be 12 months. This submission is to correct the time eligibility period to 12 months for both programs.

Assistance; Correction

AGENCY: Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), Administration for 
Children and Families (ACF), U.S. Department of Health and Human 
Services (HHS).

ACTION: Notice; correction.

SUMMARY: The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) published a notice in 
the Federal Register of July 14, 2026, extending the eligibility time 
period for Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) and Refugee Medical Assistance 
(RMA). After further review of the considerations listed 45 CFR 
400.211, ORR determined that the eligibility period should be 12 
months. This submission is to correct the time eligibility period to 12 
months for both programs.

DATES: Recipients should implement this change to the RCA and RMA 
eligibility time period within 30 days of this publication in the 
Federal Register, consistent with 45 CFR 400.211(b).

Correction

    In the Federal Register of July 14, 2026, in FR Doc. 2026-14095, 
correct all references to the 8-month eligibility period to 12 months 
so that:

    <bullet> In paragraph 5 under the SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION 
heading: adjust 8 to 12,
    <bullet> In paragraph 6 under the SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION 
heading: adjust 8 to 12, and
    <bullet> In paragraph 8 under the SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION 
heading: adjust 8 to 12.
