On July 22, 2026, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) solicited comments on draft NUREG-1220, Revision 2, "Training Review Criteria and Procedures." The public comment period was originally scheduled to close on August 21, 2026. The NRC has decided to extend the public comment to September 21, 2026, to allow more time for members of the public to prepare and submit their comments.
