    On August 3, 2026, pursuant to Rule 212 of the Commission's Rules 
of Practice and Procedure,\1\ ISO New England Inc. (ISO-NE) and the 
Participating Transmission Owners Administrative Committee (PTO-AC) on 
behalf of the Participating Transmission Owners \2\ filed a motion to 
hold the show cause proceeding in Docket No. EL26-72-000 in abeyance 
for 90 days. ISO-NE and PTO-AC request that the Commission shorten the 
answer period for the motion to five days, such that answers to the 
motion would be due on or by August 10, 2026.
