Agency Information Collection Activities; Submission to the
Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for Review and Approval; Comment
Request; Entity List and Unverified List Requests
The Department of Commerce will submit the following information
collection request to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for
review and clearance in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of
1995, on or after the date of publication of this notice. We invite the
general public and other Federal agencies to comment on proposed, and
continuing information collections, which helps us assess the impact of
our information collection requirements and minimize the public's
reporting burden. Public comments were previously requested via the
Federal Register on February 27, 2026, during a 60-day comment period.
This notice allows for an additional 30 days for public comments.
Agency: Bureau of Industry and Security, Commerce.
Title: Entity List and Unverified List Requests.
OMB Control Number: 0694-0134.
Form Number(s): None.
Type of Request: Extension of a current information collection.
Number of Respondents: 20.
Average Hours per Response: 15 hours.
Burden Hours: 300.
Needs and Uses: This collection is needed to provide a procedure
for persons or organizations listed on the Entity List and Unverified
List to

request removal or modification of the entry that affects them. The
Entity List appears at 15 CFR part 744, Supp. No. 4, and the Unverified
List appears at 15 CFR part 744, Supp. No. 6. The Entity List and
Unverified List are used to inform the public of certain parties whose
presence in a transaction that is subject to the Export Administration
Regulations (15 CFR parts 730-799) requires a license from the Bureau
of Industry and Security (BIS). Requests for removal from the Entity
List would be reviewed by the Departments of Commerce, State, and
Defense, and Energy and Treasury as appropriate. The final decision
will be communicated to the requesting entity by BIS. Requests for
removal from the Unverified List would be reviewed by the Department of
Commerce. The decision, as communicated to the requesting entity by
BIS, would be the final agency action on such a request.

Respondent's Obligation: Voluntary.
Legal Authority: Sections 744.11, and 744.16 of the EAR.
