Abstract
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has approved the Kairos Power LLC (Kairos) request to amend Construction Permit No. CPTR-6 for the Hermes test reactor facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The approved amendment extends the latest date for completion of the construction of the Hermes test reactor facility from December 31, 2026, to April 30, 2029.
