Abstract

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA), Office of Finance and Administration is giving notice that it proposes to rescind a system of records pursuant to the provisions of the Privacy Act of 1974. The Integrated Grants Management System (IGMS)/Next Generation Grants System (NGGS) system of record (EPA-53) is being rescinded because the Office of Finance and Administration is no longer using the IGMS/NGGS as a system of records as it is defined in the Privacy Act of 1974. IGMS/NGGS records are not retrieved by personal identifiers.

Privacy Act of 1974; System of Records

AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

ACTION: Rescindment of a system of records notice.

SUMMARY: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA), Office of 
Finance and Administration is giving notice that it proposes to rescind 
a system of records pursuant to the provisions of the Privacy Act of 
1974. The Integrated Grants Management System (IGMS)/Next Generation 
Grants System (NGGS) system of record (EPA-53) is being rescinded 
because the Office of Finance and Administration is no longer using the 
IGMS/NGGS as a system of records as it is defined in the Privacy Act of 
1974. IGMS/NGGS records are not retrieved by personal identifiers.

DATES: EPA stopped maintaining this system of records in July 2024. 
Persons wishing to comment on this system or records notice must do so 
by April 22, 2026.
