Abstract
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has issued an exemption in response to a request dated December 12, 2025, as supplemented by letters dated December 26, 2025, December 31, 2025, and January 5, 2026, from Palisades Energy, LLC. The exemption authorizes a one-time exemption for the Palisades Nuclear Plant to allow the use of the less restrictive work hour limitations described in the NRC regulations for a 60-day period starting on January 6, 2026.
