Abstract
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is issuing an exemption in response to a request dated May 8, 2025, as supplemented by letter dated August 21, 2025, from Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC, to allow the implementation of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Code Case N-921 after the start dates of the fifth Inservice Inspection (ISI) interval at McGuire Nuclear Station, Unit 1.
