Vanillin From China; Cancellation of Hearing for Antidumping and 
Countervailing Duty Investigations

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:  On January 16, 2025, the Commission 
established a schedule for the final phase of the antidumping and 
countervailing duty investigations (90 FR 9082, February 6, 2025). On 
May 22, 2025, counsel for Solvay USA LLC (``Solvay'') filed a request 
to appear at the hearing. No other parties submitted a request to 
appear at the hearing. On May 27, 2025, counsel for Solvay withdrew its 
request to appear at the hearing, and on May 28, 2025, filed a request 
that the Commission cancel the scheduled hearing. Counsel indicated a 
willingness to respond to any written questions from the Commission in 
lieu of an in-person hearing. Consequently, the public hearing in 
connection with these investigations, scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. 
on Thursday, May 29, 2025, is cancelled. Parties to these 
investigations should respond to any written questions posed by the 
Commission in their posthearing briefs, which are due to be filed on 
June 5, 2025.
    For further information concerning these investigations see the 
Commission's notice cited above and the Commission's Rules of Practice 
and Procedure, part 201, subparts A and B (19 CFR part 201), and part 
207, subparts A, D, E, and F (19 CFR part 207).
    Authority: These investigations are being conducted under authority 
of title VII of the Tariff Act of 1930; this notice is published 
pursuant to Sec.  207.21 of the Commission's rules.
