On November 27, 2023, HUD announced approximately $142 million in Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds appropriated by the Disaster Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2023 for major disasters occurring in 2022 and January of 2023 in a Federal Register notice. This Allocation Announcement Notice announces an additional $102,414,000 in CDBG-DR funds appropriated by the Disaster Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2025 for major disasters occurring in January 2023 only. This Allocation Announcement Notice identifies grant requirements for these funds.
