Abstract

The Idaho Panhandle National Forest is withdrawing its Notice of Intent (NOI) to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Noxious Weed Treatment Project. The original NOI was published on pages 70954-70955 of the Federal Register on November 16, 2011. The Forest plans to complete an Environmental Assessment (EA) to determine if there are significant effects warranting the preparation of an EIS.

AGENCY: Forest Service, Agriculture (USDA).

ACTION: Notice; withdrawal.

SUMMARY: The Idaho Panhandle National Forest is withdrawing its Notice 
of Intent (NOI) to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for 
the Noxious Weed Treatment Project. The original NOI was published on 
pages 70954-70955 of the Federal Register on November 16, 2011. The 
Forest plans to complete an Environmental Assessment (EA) to determine 
if there are significant effects warranting the preparation of an EIS.
