AGENCY: National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), National Oceanic and
Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Commerce.
ACTION: Notice of a public meeting.

SUMMARY: The South Atlantic Fishery Management Council (Council) will

hold a meeting of the Law Enforcement Advisory Panel (AP) in February.
DATES: The Law Enforcement AP meeting will be held via webinar on
February 5, 2025. The meeting will be held from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.,
EST.

is open to members of the public. Registration is required. Webinar
registration, an online public comment form, and briefing book

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Law Enforcement Advisory Panel will
discuss modifications to the Law Enforcement Officer of the Year award
process, background check practices for state agency appointments to
advisory groups, potential actions to improve the Southeast For-Hire
Integrated Electronic Reporting Program, and other enforcement issues
as needed.

(see ADDRESSES) 10 days prior to the meeting.
