AGENCY: Defense Acquisition Regulations System, Department of Defense
(DoD).
ACTION: Final rule; technical amendment.

SUMMARY: DoD is amending the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation
Supplement (DFARS) to make needed editorial changes.
DATES: Effective December 18, 2024.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: This final rule amends the DFARS to make
needed editorial changes to update a reference to a DoD Directive at
DFARS 225.802-71.

2. Amend section 225.802-71 by removing ``DoD Directive 2040.3'' and
adding ``DoD Instruction 2040.03'' in its place.
