Abstract

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for navigable waters of Sandusky Bay in vicinity of the Jackson Street Pier in Sandusky, OH. The safety zone is necessary and intended to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards associated with firework displays created by the City of Sandusky. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port (COTP) Detroit, or his designated representative.
