Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the rules and regulations of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights (Commission) and the Federal Advisory Committee Act, that the North Carolina Advisory Committee (Committee) to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights will hold a virtual, public briefing via Zoom at 12:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. The purpose of this briefing is to hear testimony from advocates and community organizations on the topic, Civil Rights and the Child Welfare System in North Carolina. In addition, the Committee will hold a short business meeting at the conclusion of the briefing.
