SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: On March 1, 2024, we published the NIAs for
the FY 2024 SBMH and MHSP competitions in the Federal Register (89 FR
15173 and 89 FR 15180, respectively). The NIAs established a deadline
of April 30, 2024, for eligible applicants to submit applications for
the SBMH competition and a deadline of May 15, 2024, for eligible
applicants to submit applications for the MHSP competition. We are
extending the deadline for transmittal of applications for all eligible
applicants under both competitions until May 31, 2024. We are extending
the deadline in order to allow all applicants more time to prepare and
submit their applications. Applicants that have already submitted
applications under these competitions may resubmit applications, but
are not required to do so. If a new application is not submitted, the
Department will use the application that was submitted by the original
deadline. If a new application is submitted, the Department will
consider the application that is last submitted and timely received.
Note: All information in the NIAs, including eligibility criteria,
remains the same, except for the deadlines for the transmittal of
applications and the deadlines for intergovernmental review.
