AGENCY: Defense Acquisition Regulations System, Department of Defense 
(DoD).

ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: The Defense Acquisition Regulations System has submitted to 
OMB for clearance, the following proposed extension of a collection of 
information under the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act.

DATES: Consideration will be given to all comments received by March 
25, 2024.

    Title and OMB Control Number: Defense Federal Acquisition 
Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Part 216, Types of Contracts, and 
associated clauses at Part 252.216; OMB Control Number 0704-0259.
    Type of Request: Extension of a currently approved collection.
    Affected Public: Businesses or other for-profit and not-for profit 
institutions.
    Respondent's Obligation: Required to obtain or retain benefits.
    Frequency: On occasion.
    Number of Respondents: 111.
    Responses per Respondent: Approximately 5.46.
    Annual Responses: 606.
    Average Burden per Response: 4 hours.
    Annual Burden Hours: 2,424.
    Needs and Uses: The clauses at DFARS 252.216-7000, Economic Price 
Adjustment--Basic Steel, Aluminum, Brass, Bronze, or Copper Mill 
Products; DFARS 252.216-7001, Economic Price Adjustment--Nonstandard 
Steel Items; and DFARS 252.216-7003, Economic Price Adjustment--Wage 
Rates or Material Prices Controlled by a Foreign Government, require 
contractors with fixed-price economic price adjustment contracts to 
submit information to the contracting officer regarding changes in 
established material prices or wage rates. The contracting officer uses 
this information to make appropriate adjustments to contract prices.
