Abstract

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve a state implementation plan (SIP) revision submitted by the Commonwealth of Virginia (Commonwealth or Virginia). This revision consists of an amendment to the list of Virginia nonattainment areas to include a newly designated sulfur dioxide (SO<INF>2</INF>) nonattainment area. This action is being taken under the Clean Air Act (CAA).
