AGENCY: Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs
(OASD(HA)), Department of Defense (DoD).
ACTION: 30-Day information collection notice.

SUMMARY: The DoD has submitted to the Office of Management and Budget
(OMB) for clearance the following proposal for collection of
information under the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act.
DATES: Consideration will be given to all comments received by March
14, 2024.
ADDRESSES: Written comments and recommendations for the proposed
information collection should be sent within 30 days of publication of

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
Title; Associated Form; and OMB Number: TRICARE Select Survey of
Beneficiaries (TSS-B); OMB Control Number: 0720-TSSB.
Type of Request: New.
Number of Respondents: 5,000.
Responses per Respondent: 1.
Annual Responses: 5,000.
Average Burden per Response: 15 minutes.
Annual Burden Hours: 1,250.
Needs and Uses: The TSS-B is a population-based survey, not a
healthcare encounter-based survey; this makes it unique as the only
survey of the entire TSS-B beneficiary population regardless of whether
they have had a recent health care encounter. TSS-B is the sole source
for Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems Health Plan
Survey of patient experience results for the TSS-B population. This
information collection is used to evaluate and identify issues related
to patient experience and access to care for TRICARE Select
beneficiaries.
Affected Public: Individuals or households.
Frequency: On occasion.
Respondent's Obligation: Voluntary.
