AGENCY: National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), National Oceanic and 
Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Commerce.

ACTION: Notice; public meeting.

SUMMARY: The Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council's Highly Migratory 
Species Committee will hold a public meeting.

DATES: The meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, from 9 a.m. 
to 12 p.m. For agenda details, see SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management 
Council's Highly Migratory Species (HMS) Committee will meet to review 
and provide comments on the NOAA Atlantic HMS recent and ongoing 
management initiative. The primary management initiatives include: (1) 
the proposed rule for Amendment 15 (spatial management and electronic 
monitoring), (2) an Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for 
electronic HMS reporting requirements, and (3) scoping for Amendment 16 
(shark management issues).
