    Type of Review: New ICR.

amended (HEA).
The FAFSA Simplification Act (Pub. L. 116-260) introduced a change
to the manner in which the Department of Education (ED) may obtain the

Simplification Act, ED is required to collect an applicant's income
earned under the FWS program from the IHE participating in the FWS
program and can no longer add additional questions to the FAFSA to
obtain this information from the FAFSA applicant.
