Abstract

The Coast Guard is proposing to establish a permanent special local regulation for certain waters of Henderson Bay in Henderson Harbor, NY, in support of the Christmas in July festival. This action is necessary to provide for the safety of life on these navigable waters near Henderson Bay, Henderson Harbor, NY, during a boat parade. This proposed rulemaking would prohibit persons and vessels from entering, transiting through, anchoring, blocking, or loitering within the event area adjacent to the city of Henderson Harbor, unless authorized by the Captain of the Port Buffalo or a designated representative. We invite your comments on this proposed rulemaking.
