AGENCY: Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and 
Readiness (OUSD(P&R)), Department of Defense (DoD).

ACTION: 30-Day information collection notice.

SUMMARY: The Department of Defense has submitted to OMB for clearance 
the following proposal for collection of information under the 
provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act.

DATES: Consideration will be given to all comments received by August 
25, 2022.

Education Activity Research Request Program; DoDEA Form 1304.01-F1; OMB 
Control Number 0704-0457.
    Type of Request: Revision.
    Number of Respondents: 50.
    Responses per Respondent: 1.
    Annual Responses: 50.
    Average Burden per Response: 1 hour.
    Annual Burden Hours: 50 hours.
    Needs and Uses: The Department of Defense Education Activity 
(DoDEA) Research Study Request form is administered annually and is 
used to conduct research involving DoDEA schools, teachers, principals, 
students, and parents. DoDEA receives requests from researchers both 
internal to DoDEA

as well as outside the Federal government or DoD, to conduct research 
studies in DoDEA schools and districts. This information collection is 
needed to aid in the systematic and consistent collection of 
information on proposed research in accordance with guidelines 
established in DoDEA Administrative Instruction 1304.01, ``Research 
Request Program.''
