[Project No. 2088-083]

South Feather Water and Power Agency; Notice of Application for
Approval of Contract for the Sale of Power Under Section 22 of the
Federal Power Act

Take notice that on September 3, 2021, South Feather Water and

approval of a contract for the sale of power from its licensed South
Feather Hydroelectric Project No. 2088 for a period beyond the
expiration of its existing license for the project. The project is
located on the South Fork Feather River, Lost Creek, and Slate Creek,
in Butte, Yuba, and Plumas Counties, California.
Section 22 of the Federal Power Act, 16 U.S.C. 815, provides that
contracts for the sale and delivery of power for periods extending
beyond the termination date of a license may be entered into upon the
joint approval of the Commission and the appropriate state public
service commission or other similar authority in the state in which the
sale or delivery of power is made.

file in accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of the Commission's Rules of
Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211, 385.214). Protests will be
considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to
be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the
proceeding. Any person wishing to become a party must file a notice of
intervention or motion to intervene, as appropriate. Such notices,
motions, or protests must be filed on or before the comment date.
Anyone filing a motion to intervene or protest must serve a copy of
that document on the Petitioner.
