Abstract

In accordance with the regulations implementing the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA) as amended, notification is given that NMFS has issued an incidental harassment authorization (IHA) to the Port of Alaska (POA) to incidentally harass, by Level B harassment and Level A harassment, marine mammals during pile driving associated with the relocation of the POA's South Floating Dock (SFD) within Knik Arm, in upper Cook Inlet, Alaska.
