Abstract
The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for certain waters of the Patapsco River. This action is necessary to provide for the safety of life on these navigable waters near the Francis Scott Key (I-695) Bridge, Baltimore, MD, while work crews install power transmission lines crossing over the Patapsco River from September 1, 2021 through November 17, 2021. This regulation prohibits persons and vessels from being in the safety zone unless authorized by the Captain of the Port Maryland--National Capital Region a designated representative.
