The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) is hereby announcing the process for eligible businesses to apply for payroll assistance under the ``Aviation Manufacturing Jobs Protection'' (AMJP) program, established by the ``American Rescue Plan Act of 2021'' (ARPA), which was enacted on March 11, 2021. This notice contains critical deadlines, definitions, requirements, and processes for applicants. DOT does not plan to publish any further notice about this program in the Federal Register. Additional information for potential applicants will be published on the DOT program web page at https:// www.transportation.gov/AMJP.
